The SaunaLife CL5G is an outdoor cube sauna kit sized for four people, one step up from the SaunaLife CL4G, which seats three. An upper bench, a lower bench, and a side bench give you several places to settle in, so you can move between heat levels as the room builds and find the position that suits your session. That seating fits within an 80.7-by-63-inch footprint. The bronze-tinted glass front wall and door give you a view of the yard while you sit, a detail that makes this cube sauna feel less like a box and more like a piece of backyard architecture. The natural wood exterior uses thermo-spruce, meaning spruce heated in a kiln to help it resist moisture and rot. Black front details frame the glass.
Inside, the knotless thermo-aspen benches and backrest are heat-treated to stay splinter-free and resist the expansion and contraction that untreated wood undergoes in outdoor temperature swings. The interior volume works out to approximately 246 cubic feet (77.2” x 55.1” x 74.8”), which is the number you’ll use when sizing a heater; all four heater options on this page are rated for that range.
The CL5G requires a dedicated 240V circuit, and the exact amperage depends on the heater you choose. For example, the 6kW HUUM DROP needs a 30A breaker, while the 8kW Harvia options require a 40A breaker. The kit arrives flat-packed on a pallet, and most owners complete assembly in two to four hours with two people; only the two large wall panels require a helper.
The box includes a shingle roof kit, ventilation, and a white LED light bar you can operate with a phone app or the included handheld remote. The heater is sold separately, so choose one of the four electric heater packages on this page, ranging from 6 to 8 kW, each with its control and stones. The CL5G needs a level, solid surface rated for 1,680 lbs. A concrete pad, compacted gravel base, or a deck built to that load capacity all work. The minimum pad size should match the exterior footprint of 80.7” x 63”. No anchoring to the ground is required.
Most owners finish in two to four hours with two people. The two large wall panels are the only steps that genuinely require a second set of hands, everything else can be managed solo. All hardware and instructions are included; no special tools beyond basic hand tools are needed.
The CL5G runs on a 240V dedicated circuit. The 6kW HUUM DROP needs a 30A breaker; the 8kW Harvia options require a 40A breaker. A licensed electrician is required for the hookup. The heater is not included with the sauna kit and ships separately.

I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.

I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

After a lot of research I made a decision to go with a Sauna from Golden Designs. It has only been in place for a week but so far two thumbs up. Maya at Norse Steam was amazing and extremely responsive from start to finish, which made the experience even better. The unit arrived on a pallet and in great shape. Once we brought on the pieces downstairs to where the unit was being installed the setup was very easy as the direction were fantastic. We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit.
