The Golden Designs Carinthia (model GDI-8123-01) is a 3-person hybrid outdoor sauna in Canadian Hemlock. It combines a Harvia 8kW traditional sauna stove and a PureTech™ full spectrum infrared system in one cabin, allowing either traditional steam sessions or lower-temperature infrared sessions. The two systems operate one at a time.
The traditional side is a Harvia 8KW sauna stove with built-in controls, usable at any exterior temperature and reaching standard steam-sauna temperatures. The infrared side uses eight emitters: two carbon PureTech™ near zero EMF heating panels and six near infrared heating elements. Golden Designs specifies infrared mode for use when the outdoor temperature is 45°F or warmer, because an outdoor cabin loses heat faster than the panels can replace it in freezing conditions. The stove has no such limitation.
The Carinthia is natural reforested Canadian Hemlock with a waterproof stain on the exterior. Exterior dimensions are 84.1″ × 73.6″ × 97.4″ with the roof overhang (63″ × 56.7″ at the walls); interior is 59.2″ × 53.2″ × 78″, with three-person bench capacity. The door is bronze privacy tempered glass. Assembled weight is 715 lbs; shipping weight is 925 lbs, delivered curbside on a pallet.
Interior chromotherapy color lighting, a lit backrest with accent lighting, an interior LED control panel with built-in FM station and Bluetooth connection, performance speakers, and traditional accessories (sandglass timer, bucket, and scoop) are all included.
The hybrid requires 240V / 40AMP service run to the sauna location for the stove and full spectrum system, installed by a certified electrician. This wiring is a cost to account for when comparing the Carinthia with plug-in indoor infrared saunas. Site preparation is a level, load-bearing pad of roughly 7′ × 6.5′.
No. One mode operates per session. In practice, users select stove mode for traditional sessions and infrared mode for lower-temperature sessions in warmer weather.
Infrared panels heat the body rather than the air; in freezing conditions an outdoor cabin loses heat faster than the panels replace it. The Harvia stove is not limited this way.

I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

After a lot of research I made a decision to go with a Sauna from Golden Designs. It has only been in place for a week but so far two thumbs up. Maya at Norse Steam was amazing and extremely responsive from start to finish, which made the experience even better. The unit arrived on a pallet and in great shape. Once we brought on the pieces downstairs to where the unit was being installed the setup was very easy as the direction were fantastic. I would highly recommend reaching out to Maya for all your Sauna needs.
I found Norse Steam through a google search looking for a Harvia M3. I did some fallow up research and noticed they had some great reviews and would give them a go. Their price on the sauna stove was great. The customer service was fantastic and shipping was fast and easy. Would not hesitate to use them again.
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.

So happy with our new sauna. Delivery was faster than expected, slight hiccup getting the load off the trailer but very responsive customer service. High quality, easy to assemble and appreciate the high touch follow up on how things went. Would highly recommend!!
The unit is my third one (as I move from one home to another). If your schedule is one that you cant wait for the heater to warm up. .. this is the one to have; sueprior quality. And support by Norsesteam was exceptional and responsiveness to calls and questions. The Heater was on hand and shipped on schedule and (most importantly) arrived without damage. Thanks Maya!! You all are my go-to for sauna heaters!
I was in a rush and needed the unit right away. Found the best price on Norse Steam. Never heard about this website before and during my vetting process, chatted with Maya. Maya was very responsive and quickly found the unit and got it shipped right away. My unit arrived couple days ahead of schedule and in very good condition.
