Where the Cube-Series leads with a single dramatic glass front, the GL6 is a complete building: wrap-around horizontal eaves, an integrated porch, black exterior trim, and recessed LED lighting set into the eaves so the sauna glows at dusk. At 90.2″ square and 92.5″ tall, it anchors a yard the way a pavilion does — and then it happens to also be a superb sauna.

What the Garden Series Changes vs. the Cubes

The GL-series rethinks the entry. Instead of walking through the front glass wall, you step onto a covered porch and enter through a tempered bronze glass side door with a full-height pull, while tall bronze-tinted front windows (0.24″ tempered glass) light the interior. The eaves with metal flashing shelter the walls and the porch from rain, and the exterior LED lighting means the building looks finished at night, not dark. Inside: Two-Tier Seating for Six Bathers

The interior measures 69.7″ square with 79.1″ of headroom, wrapped in Nordic Thermo-Spruce. Extra-thick, silky-smooth two-tier benches run the full width — a deep 23.6-inch upper bench for serious heat and a 12.5-inch lower tier for cooler seating or feet — comfortably handling up to six sauna bathers. Natural light pours through the full-height front windows, which changes the daytime experience completely compared to a windowless sauna cabin.

Interlocking-Beam Construction, Engineered for DIY

The GL6’s walls are premium 1.57-inch-thick Nordic Thermo-Spruce beams that interlock, allowing the wood’s natural expansion and contraction while keeping an exacting fit season after season. SaunaLife engineers the kit specifically for pro-quality DIY installation — two people, about two days — with every component precut and the sequence documented. Crafted in Northern Europe by sauna enthusiasts, and it shows in how the joints close.

Lighting Inside and Out

Two LED systems come standard: the recessed exterior lights integrated in the eaves, and an interior LED light system controlled by Wi-Fi app or hand-held remote. Between them, the GL6 needs no additional landscape lighting to be usable — and beautiful — after dark.

Heater Sizing for the GL6

Like all SaunaLife rooms, the GL6 ships heater-ready with the sauna heater sold separately. For its interior volume, most customers choose an 8–9 kW electric sauna heater on a dedicated 240V circuit, hardwired by a licensed electrician. We’ll bundle the heater, controls, and stones with your order and confirm freight — accessories often ride free with the room’s crate.

Delivery and Site Prep

The GL6 ships by freight on a wooden pallet (crate 83″ × 43″ × 43″, 2,425 lbs) with $950 flat-rate curbside delivery in the contiguous U.S. and $1,250 to Canada, by scheduled appointment, lowered to ground level. Prepare a level, load-bearing pad a bit larger than the 90.2″ × 90.2″ footprint — the integrated porch is part of the structure, so the whole base needs support.

GL6 or GL4?

Same architecture, different scale: the GL4 trims the width to under five feet for four bathers, while the GL6 gives six bathers a square room and the bigger porch presence. If you host, take the GL6.
