The trade is made in depth instead: the building runs 79.5 inches front to back, including an integrated 14.6-inch porch that gives you a sheltered step-up and somewhere to kick off shoes before the heat.

Narrow Outside, Tall and Deep Inside

Inside, the Model GL4 measures 55.5″W × 59.1″D × 76″H — a deep, private room for four bathers. Two-tier seating runs the full 54-inch width: an extra-thick, silky-smooth 23.6-inch upper bench for lying back in the heat, and a 12.5-inch lower tier for cooler sessions or feet. A full-height bronze tempered-glass front (with a reversible door with full-height pull) keeps the narrow room feeling open and bright rather than closed-in.

Garden-Series Construction

The GL4 shares its architecture with the larger GL6: premium 1.57-inch Nordic Thermo-Spruce walls in interlocking-beam construction that accommodates the wood’s natural expansion and contraction, horizontal eaves, black exterior trim, and a full-width LED exterior light strip integrated into the eaves. Thermally modified spruce is dimensionally stable, decay-resistant, and nearly maintenance-free outdoors — this is a four-season building, not a fair-weather one. An interior LED light system controlled by Wi-Fi app or hand-held remote comes standard.

Heater Sizing for the GL4

The GL4 ships heater-ready, with the sauna heater sold separately. For its interior volume, a 6–8 kW electric sauna heater on a dedicated 240V circuit is the right range — we’ll spec the heater, controls, and stones as a package, and accessories ordered with the room often ship free on its crate.

Delivery and Assembly

Freight arrives on a wooden pallet (crate 83″ × 43″ × 32″, 1,830 lbs) with $950 flat-rate curbside delivery in the contiguous U.S. or $1,250 to Canada, by appointment. SaunaLife engineers the kit for pro-quality DIY installation — two people, roughly two days — and the narrow panels are the easiest Garden-Series components to carry through a gate or alongside a house, which is usually exactly the access situation GL4 buyers have.
