Inside, you have 87.4 inches across and 70.7 inches of depth, with a bronze tinted glass front looking out onto your yard. A fitted floor comes with the kit. The raised bench curves beneath you, with an arched backrest behind you and a lower footrest for your feet. The barrel uses natural thermo spruce, meaning spruce treated with heat. The bench and backrest use heat treated aspen. A black shingle roof and a rail along its edge help direct rainwater away. A drain under the heater handles water you ladle over the stones, and another sits by the door. White LED light bars are included, with a phone app and handheld remote. The heater is sold separately, so choose one of the 5 electric heater packages on the page, from 8 to 10.6 kW, each with its control and stones. You can also add a Kolo bucket and ladle or wood care supplies. Considering a smaller barrel? See the [SaunaLife EE6G tall barrel sauna kit](https://norsesteam.com/product/saunalife-model-ee6g-4-person-outdoor-sauna-barrel/). The SaunaLife EE8G ships from Norse Steam by flat rate freight with No Sales Tax (except WY) and our 100% price match guarantee. **SaunaLife** combines innovative engineering with meticulous craftsmanship to create spaces that are beautiful, comfortable, and built for a lifetime of enjoyment and good health. The exterior is built from durable, full-length Thermo-Spruce staves that have been organically thermally enhanced, making them stronger, more dimensionally stable, and naturally resistant to decay and pests without chemical treatment. A complete shingle kit with drip rails ensures effective water management. The bronze-tinted 8mm tempered glass front door is both a design statement and a safety feature. The CL3G specifically uses 42mm Thermo-Spruce staves for the side walls and 28mm panels for the front and back, with stainless steel barrel bands that cinch the structure together without exposed fasteners- the same joinery approach used across SaunaLife’s broader CL-series lineup. The kit includes foundation cradles, so the sauna sits level on a gravel pad, pavers, or a small concrete slab without requiring a poured perimeter foundation.
